Right Way, Wrong Way, Inc. provides an arrangement of programs and services that is responsive to the needs of the targeted community. With this in mind, the organization's signature program is S.O.A.R.
Supporting Offenders After Release (S.O.A.R.) provides the following services to persons who have been released from jail or prison: housing assistance, employment assistance, help in obtaining identification, immediate transportation assistance, intensive classes in anger management, conflict resolution, parenting, relationships, financial literacy and cognitive restructuring.
In the Juvenile Courts, RWWW works with judges, attorneys and probation officers to assist youth and their parents in obtaining alternatives to detention.
RWWW also offers mentoring for young adults that is specifically designed to develop positive self-esteem.
As a motivational speaker, one of Byrd's presentations is "How Good People Can Make Bad Choices" in which he discusses choices, decisions and consequences.
Byrd is certified by Morehouse School of Medicine as a facilitator of the "Ten Step - Rites of Passage" Program and has received intensive training from PeaceBuilders.
With the prison and jail population, Byrd consults with persons incarcerated and assists parents, relatives and friends in obtaining the proper legal representation.
